Bike & Sail Lyngen
1. Booking & Payment
- A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit.
- A deposit of 5,000 NOK per person is required to secure a spot.
- The remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure unless otherwise agreed.
- If full payment is not received by the deadline, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the booking and retain the deposit.
- All prices are per person unless otherwise stated and may be subject to change before booking is confirmed.
2. Deposit Policy
- The deposit secures your place on the expedition.
- The deposit is non-refundable.
- Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation more than 60 days before departure: refund of amount paid minus deposit.
- Cancellation less than 60 days before departure: no refund.
- No refund will be given for unused services, missed departure, or early return.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel a trip due to insufficient participants, weather, safety, or operational conditions.
- In such cases: a full refund will be offered, or an alternative date/trip may be proposed.
- The organizer is not responsible for additional costs such as flights or accommodation.
4. Changes & Force Majeure
- The itinerary may change due to weather, safety conditions, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Force majeure includes (but is not limited to): extreme weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, mechanical issues.
- No refunds will be issued for changes caused by force majeure, but reasonable alternatives will be attempted.
5. Liability
- Participation is at your own risk.
- You are responsible for assessing your own physical and technical ability.
- You must have valid travel and medical insurance, including coverage for mountain biking.
- The organizer is not responsible for: personal injury, loss or damage to personal equipment, delays, cancellations, or changes outside our control.
6. Participant Responsibility
- Participants must follow all instructions from guides and crew.
- Unsafe behavior may result in removal from the trip without refund.
- Participants must inform the organizer of any relevant medical conditions.
7. Equipment
- Participants are responsible for their own equipment unless otherwise agreed.
- The organizer is not liable for damage or loss of personal gear.
8. Media & Marketing
- The organizer reserves the right to use photos and video taken during the trip for marketing purposes.
- If you do not wish to appear in media, you must inform the organizer in writing before the trip.
9. Privacy Policy (GDPR)
- Personal data is collected for booking and communication purposes only.
- Data will not be sold or shared with third parties unless necessary to deliver the service.
- You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data upon request.
10. Governing Terms
By making a booking and/or paying a deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.
